Mandgaon Sub Market

The Committee maintains a sub-market at Mandgaon. Situated on 4 acres of land owned by the Committee, this site was developed to facilitate grain trading operations. To this end, the sub-market premises were equipped with a modern warehouse, administrative offices, a grain shed for sales, a perimeter compound wall enclosing the entire yard, a security checkpoint, and a main entrance gate. All of the aforementioned construction work has now been successfully completed.

Furthermore, to ensure an adequate water supply within the sub-market premises, a borewell was drilled and fitted with a submersible pump, thereby providing ample facilities for drinking water. Additionally, the electrification of the site, as well as the construction of a Water Bound Macadam (WBM) road and slab culverts, has been completed. Moreover, with a view to ensuring security and protection against stray cattle, the construction of a half-wall wire fencing compound and a security checkpoint within the Mandgaon sub-market premises has also been finalized. The Market Committee has also completed the construction of a water trough to provide drinking water facilities for cattle.
